Sharp Decline: PCB Maker Nanden fell over 40%!

IC carrier and PCB giant Nandian (8046. TW), affected by the downturn and continuous destocking of the industry, had a self closing and consolidated revenue of 3.085 billion yuan (New Taiwan dollars, the same below) in June, a monthly decrease of 7.58% and an annual decrease of 44.12%, reaching a low point in nearly 28 months. In the second quarter, the combined revenue was 10.133 billion yuan, with a quarterly decrease of 19.45% and an annual decrease of 33.27%, which is the lowest point in the past three years. The cumulative consolidated revenue in the first half of the year was 22.714 billion yuan, with an annual decrease of 23.64%, which is the lowest point in the same period in the past three years and still the third highest in the same period.


According to the estimation of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Institute of the Institute of Industry Research, Nandian is the world's second largest IC carrier factory, with a market share of about 10.3%, second only to Xinxing's 17.7%. With the weakening global economy, Nandian's performance in the first half of this year was weak, and its revenue in the second quarter decreased both annually and quarterly.


Pcb industry Nandian previously confessed that the order visibility of about 3 months, so that the second quarter operations under pressure, but with the new development of the new generation of products demand gradually emerged, the second quarter operations are expected to fall to the bottom, the second half of the year will be better than the first half. Chairman Wu Jiazhao believes that NDT's second quarter operations are not too bad, and overall, it can survive the downturn, and is still optimistic about the future development space of the carrier board.


Nanpower spokesman Lv Lianrui said that the carrier board industry has its ups and downs, and the current overall situation is still a healthy adjustment state, still quite optimistic about the industry's future demand growth. Therefore, the Group's existing capital expenditure and the expansion plan of the second plant in the woods remain unchanged, and evaluate the possibility of building capacity in the existing plants in Southeast Asia of the Formosa Plastics Group, and make a decision in the second half of the year at the earliest.


It is expected that NDT's revenue will bottom out in the second quarter, and it is hoped that the fourth quarter will see the end customer's inventory adjustment come to an end, with the second phase expansion of the woods plant and the transformation of the Jinxing plant completed one after another, and the demand for ABF carrier boards will revive, so that the operation will regain growth next year. It is estimated that NDT's revenue this year will decrease by 22.5%, profit will be cut, and earnings per share will be about $14.9.
